What is Applied SP: A Community in Practice?

Applied SP: A Community in Practice is an ongoing online yearly membership for Alumni of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. In order to participate in Applied SP, you need to have completed training from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Insititute. To learn more about SPI and their trainings, travel here.

How do I join a live webinar?

You will receive reminder emails from “Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Webinars” at no-reply@zoom.us one day and one hour before the live call/webinar. In that email, you will see the following: a personal link to join the webinar and instructions to join via phone.

You will also be able to view the call streamed LIVE into the exclusive private Facebook group. There will also be reminders a few days before each call in the group reiterating how you can join the webinar.

What if I miss a live webinar?

We understand that you have busy schedules and might not be able to attend a call/webinar live. Don’t worry! You will be able to view the live call in the membership site two business days after the call.

Simply login to the membership site, select the course and module and find all recorded webinars under the “Recorded Webinars” tab in the menu.

How long will I have access to the course site?

As long as you are an active member you will continue to have access to the material. If you cancel, please find your payment method and read the below on retaining access to the content.

If you purchased annually, and at the end of your year renewal you no longer wish to continue as an active member, you will continue to have access to your past modules and the private FB group, but will not receive new teaching content or be able to attend the upcoming live webinars.

If you purchased monthly, you will keep access to each module in which you complete full payment. Full payment is four months of successful payments for a module. You will not keep access to the modules in which you only complete partial payment. If you cancel and have completed full payment for at least one module, you will continue to have access to the private FB group but no longer have access to upcoming content and live webinars.

If you purchased a single module, you will retain access to that module. You must purchase the new module to gain access to the newest content & live webinars. You will keep access to the private FB group.

If you would like to keep some of the content you may download it onto your hard drive/computer. Please remember, some of this content contains confidential client information. Content that contains confidential client information WILL NOT be available to download. All content that does not have client information will be available to download either through video, audio, or transcript.

 

How do I join the Facebook group?

One of the major elements of the Applied SP program is the community created by each and every one of you! In this group you will see announcements, prompts about the content, reminders for live calls, discussion. We hope you view this group as a safe place to explore the content, spark discussion, and inquire for support from your community.

Please join the exclusive and private Facebook group by following this link. Click “Join Group” and answer the questions when prompted. You will be approved into the group within two business days. If you do not have a Facebook account you will need to create one in order to join.

Once approved please introduce yourself to the community and explore the options on the right. The discussion area will be where you dialogue with your fellow members. The announcement tab will have all the important updates within the past week from the admin and membership team.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents & Families is approved for 6 CEs cosponsored with Commonwealth Educational Seminars for the following professions: Licensed Professional Counselors/Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Marriage & Family Therapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers. What's the cancellation policy?

There is a 30-day refund policy for the Applied SP Program. After the 30 days, you agree to pay for the full module or until you notify us of cancellation for a monthly membership.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: After the 30 day refund period, no refunds will be given. Please review the below for further information.

If you purchased by module, you will retain access to the module as long as full payment is received. There is no need to cancel as you must purchase the next module to gain access to new teachings. You will continue to be a member of the private FB group as long as you have completed full payment for one module.

If you purchased monthly, you may cancel at any time during your membership. You will retain access to a module as long as full payment is received. Full payment is four months of successful payments for a module. If you cancel two months into the module, you will lose access to that module’s content and the remaining live webinars. You will continue to be a member of the private FB group as long as you have completed full payment for one module.

If you purchased annually and are up for renewal, you must renew your membership either monthly or by joining the new module. You will be considered ‘canceled’ unless you renew in one of those ways. If you choose not to continue, you will retain access to the past modules and the private FB group. You will no longer receive new monthly content or live webinars.
